Acoustics don’t have to be complex to deliver comfort and clarity. In this session, we invite akustikplus to demystify the science of room acoustics, offering practical guidance for architects and designers who want to specify fearlessly - blending acoustic science, performance, and specification for design-led interiors.

Barbara (Antkowiak) Smith represents akustikplus, partnering with architects and designers to integrate wood-based acoustic panels into workplaces, education, hospitality and residential projects. Trained as an Industrial Designer and holding an MBA, she combines a designer's eye for proportion and detail with a strategic understanding of programmes, budgets and stakeholder expectations.
