Time & Location

About the event
What is neurodiversity, and why does it matter? Why should we involve neurodivergent experts in shaping strategies and solutions in design? In this session, join us in conversation with creative entrepreneur, lecturer and design festival producer Piers Roberts to discuss what it means to be neurodivergent, clarify terminology, and explore the key considerations when designing for neuroinclusion and who stands to gain.
In this dual focused session, Piers will reflect on the emergence of the creative entrepreneurial scene in the late 1990s/early 2000s, and what was it that inspired him to produce design festivals and develop the blueprint for creative festivals now replicated around the world. Guests will learn how this lead to Piers’ role overseeing production of the London Festival Architecture from 2004-2008, and its role in the evolution of Clerkenwell Design Week.
Come early for coffee and pastries (9-10am). Stay after for a light lunch (12-1pm).
