THE BRIEF
WHERE LUXURY MEETS PRACTICALITY
Step through York's historic City Wall gateways, into an aparthotel offering a luxurious guest experience, rooted in comfort and sustainability. Situated in Micklegate, a sought-after area known for its rich heritage and recognised by its high level of environmental compliance, this new development from Supercity aligns perfectly with the brand's commitment to ESG principles.
Each suite has been carefully curated to feature home-like convenience and comfort, with the refinement of an upscale hotel destination, resulting in a contemporary balance of elegance and practicality throughout.
Central to the scheme is the application of EGGER's F424 ST10 Brown Linen, specified for wardrobe doors, bedside tables, and desks. The rich brown adds warmth and depth to the colour palette, complementing the soft, neutral shades and natural looking woodgrain elements, to create a residential feel.

Brown Linen offers a refined, textile-inspired appearance, replicating the familiar aesthetic of cosy home furnishings. Combined with the ST10 Deepskin Rough texture, the decor imitates a soft, authentic linen effect while maintaining the durability required for the functional demands of a hospitality setting.

U702 PM CASHMERE GREY
Seamlessly enhancing the warm tones of the linen effect, U702 PM Cashmere Grey offers a pinky, undertoned neutral, that adds a light and airy ambiance to the apartments. Its base tones extract the richness of the fabrics, while its understated appearance sets a subdued backdrop for the muted-bold accessories in ochre, olive and burnt sienna.

Designed for the busy, demanding hospitality setting, EGGER materials provide reliability and durability without compromising on quality, appearance, or luxury.
PerfectSense Matt Lacquered MDF is used for the kitchen unit and drawer fronts. The velvety matt surfaces contribute to a soft-touch quality, enhancing surface serenity, whilst the anti-fingerprint properties support the demands of high-touch areas, delivering a low-maintenance surface. Combined with the understated U702 Cashmere Grey decor, the material specification ensures quality and functionality are met without compromise on the homely design intent.

By choosing a complementing finish in EGGER Door Laminate, the product specification adds a sense of aesthetic wholeness to the scheme while ensuring practicality, both at fabrication stage and in ongoing performance.
Pre-cut to size, Door Laminate offers a time and cost saving solution for interior door manufacturers, aiding project budget control, while the lightfast and scratch resistant surface stays true to design intent, and withstands the repeated impact of guest luggage over time.
